South East Must Unite for 2027: Sir Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe Champions Collective Voting Power and National Inclusion

The distinguished leader, Sir Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe, has called on the people of the South East to unite with one voice and purpose ahead of the 2027 general elections. He emphasized that the region must come together to cast a bulk, decisive vote for whoever God chooses to be the next President of Nigeria.

According to Sir Adighibe, “Our collective and strategic voting power will give us a strong bargaining position to demand and secure our rightful place, privileges, and development from the Central Government.”

He urged all eligible citizens, both at home and in the diaspora, to ensure they obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), describing it as the key instrument of change and empowerment.

Furthermore, Sir Adighibe appealed to the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to treat as a matter of national urgency the task of educating and sensitizing Nigerians—especially those from the South East—on the importance of participating in the upcoming elections. He suggested that voting should be viewed not merely as a civic duty but also as a national exercise similar in importance to the population census, reflecting the true strength and voice of the people.
