Dear Fellow Nigerians in the Diaspora,
Many of you left Nigeria in search of safety, opportunity, and a better future. You did not leave because you stopped loving your country. You left because of years of insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment, poor governance, and uncertainty about tomorrow.
Today, many of you continue to support your families back home through remittances, paying school fees, hospital bills, rent, and other daily needs. Your sacrifices have kept countless homes alive. However, sending money alone cannot solve the challenges facing our nation. Nigeria needs lasting solutions through responsible leadership and good governance.
A political movement described as a rescue mission is now being promoted under the NDC, with supporters presenting it as an opportunity for national renewal. Supporters point to Mr. Peter Gregory Obi’s record as Governor of Anambra State, including reforms in education and his support for mission schools and healthcare institutions. They also highlight his emphasis on developing people through education, skills, and human capital rather than short-term handouts.
Many believe that investing in people is the surest path to building a prosperous nation where every citizen has the opportunity to succeed.
The future of Nigeria concerns us all. The families you left behind deserve security, quality education, economic opportunities, and hope. Every Nigerian deserves to live without fear and to believe that tomorrow can be better than today.
As the 2027 elections approach, you can play an important role by encouraging your family members and friends to participate peacefully in the democratic process. Speak with them about the importance of voting according to their conscience, rejecting vote-buying, and supporting leaders they believe possess integrity, competence, and a genuine commitment to national development.
Supporters of this movement also express confidence in leaders such as Senator Seriake Dickson, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, describing them as individuals capable of contributing to Nigeria’s progress.
Nigeria is richly blessed with natural resources, talented people, and enormous potential. With accountable leadership, prudent management of resources, and active citizen participation, our nation can once again become a leading force in Africa.
The future of Nigeria depends on the choices we make today. Let us encourage peaceful participation, responsible leadership, and a commitment to building a nation where every citizen can live with dignity, security, and hope.
Together, we can work toward a better Nigeria for ourselves and for generations yet unborn.
God bless you.God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
